2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by a provider in Germany. When you visit, technical information (IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system) is stored in server logs. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to keep the site running securely. Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

3. Contact, application and partner forms

If you contact us via one of our forms, we process the details you provide (for example name, email, phone, company, message and, for applications, uploaded documents) in order to handle your request. Transmission is encrypted via TLS to our mail server. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or (f) GDPR; for applications also § 26 BDSG.

To protect the forms from automated requests, a check runs in the background when you send the form. No puzzle is shown. The check happens on our server; no external captcha service is used.

We delete application documents six months after the process ends at the latest, unless you have agreed to longer storage (talent pool). Contact enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention rules apply.

4. Audience measurement

Fonts are served from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts. No marketing cookies are used.

We measure the use of this website with Matomo on our own server (analytics.guenauer.de). The measurement does not use analytics cookies. The page viewed, referring page, browser, operating system and an IP address shortened by at least two octets are transmitted. When a form is sent successfully, only the form type (contact, application or transport partner) is also transmitted, not the contents entered. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is used only for anonymous evaluation of this website and is not passed on for advertising. You can object to the measurement. The objection is stored locally in your browser.

5. Map and external links

On the contact page we link to Google Maps for route planning. You only leave our website when you click the link; the provider’s privacy policy then applies.

The locations page shows a map. Map tiles are loaded from the OpenStreetMap Foundation. Your IP address may be sent to that provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the data protection commissioner of Rhineland-Palatinate.
